I just saw a new clip from the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day, and wow, it’s getting a lot of people talking! Tom Holland is back as Peter Parker, but it looks like things are seriously rocky for him and MJ in this one. It seems their relationship is going to be a lot more complicated than we’ve seen before.
Spider-Man 4 clip reveals MJ’s new love interest in Brand New Day
A new trailer for the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day shows Zendaya’s character, MJ, sharing a tender moment with a new man, played by Eman Esfandi – who fans may recognize from his role as Ezra Bridger in Ahsoka. The clip shows Esfandi gently touching MJ’s hair while Peter Parker watches from afar, seemingly unable to intervene. The scene is emotionally charged, hinting that Peter still has feelings for MJ but is keeping his distance.
The events in this story are a direct consequence of the ending of Spider-Man: No Way Home. To save the multiverse, Peter Parker asked Doctor Strange to make everyone forget him. This means MJ and Ned have no memory of him, or that he’s Spider-Man. This fresh start and the resulting emotional impact are central to Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
The clip sparked a big reaction from fans. Some felt bad for Peter, while others were excited about the new character being introduced. One fan wrote, “I feel for Peter,” and another seemed to confirm a long-held rumor, saying, “It’s definitely Eman Esfandi… confirmed!” Many are now discussing what might happen next in the story, with some hoping to see characters like Black Cat or Harry Osborn appear in future movies.
I’m so excited about the new movie! Not only are Tom Holland, Zendaya, and Jacob Batalon back, but the cast is getting a huge boost with some amazing new faces. We’re going to see Jon Bernthal, Liza Colón-Zayas, and Sadie Sink – I can’t wait to find out what role Sadie plays! Plus, Mark Ruffalo is confirmed to be bringing the Hulk into the mix, and Michael Mando is returning as Scorpion, alongside Tramell Tillman. It’s shaping up to be an incredible team!
Spider-Man 4 is currently set to release in theaters on July 31.
