The first trailer for Spider-Man 4 is finally here.
The next Spider-Man movie, currently titled Spider-Man 4 or Spider-Man: Brand New Day, will be in US theaters next summer. Destin Daniel Cretton, who directed Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, is directing, and Tom Holland will return as Peter Parker/Spider-Man.

Who do we see in the Spider-Man 4 trailer?
Alongside Tom Holland, Spider-Man 4 will feature Zendaya as MJ, Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds, and Sadie Sink, Liza Colón-Zayas, Jon Bernthal (as the Punisher), and Mark Ruffalo (as the Hulk). Tramell Tillman and Marvin Jones III (as Tombstone) are also joining the cast, along with Michael Mando, reprising his role as Scorpion – a character who hasn’t appeared in a Marvel movie since 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming.
Destin Daniel Cretton has directed several films beyond 2021’s Shang-Chi, including I Am Not a Hipster (2012), Short Term 12 (2013), The Glass Castle (2017), and Just Mercy (2019). He also helped write the screenplay for The Shack (2017, directed by Stuart Hazeldine) and is a producer on the upcoming film Lucky Lu (2025).
Destin Daniel Cretton and Andrew Guest are also the creators of the new Marvel series, Wonder Man, which is coming to Disney+ in January. Yahya Abdul-Mateen II will return as Simon Williams/Wonder Man, and he’ll be joined by Ben Kingsley and Arian Moayed, who will reprise their roles as Trevor Slattery and P. Cleary, respectively.
It’s still unclear how the story from a potential Spider-Man 4 will connect to the next Marvel Cinematic Universe film, Avengers: Doomsday. While Tom Holland appearing in Doomsday or Avengers: Secret Wars hasn’t been officially confirmed, rumors strongly suggest he’ll be in at least one of them.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day arrives on July 31, 2026.
