She’s on a mission to find a special flower to demonstrate her skills as an apprentice to Qifrey. Though the story itself is straightforward, Bug Films brings it to life with stunning animation. The anime’s magic feels real through Coco’s personal growth, and the thoughtful sound design creates a powerful, immersive atmosphere. If the series maintains this high quality – combining heartfelt emotion with beautiful visuals and music – it has a strong chance of being nominated for, or even winning, Anime of the Year at the 2026 Crunchyroll Anime Awards.
