Squid Game: The Challenge is back for another season! This time, there are new games, bigger risks, and 456 contestants competing for a $4.56 million prize.
Twin brothers Raul and Jacob had a strategy going into the game, but unfortunately, it didn’t work out as planned.
In the first season of Squid Game: The Challenge, players faced the Red Light, Green Light game, just like in the original show. Raul and Jacob expected this to happen again, but they were completely surprised by what actually came next.

The competition actually began with a brand new game called The Count. This initial game proved crucial, significantly impacting the outcome and reducing the number of remaining players by almost half.
Raul went on to say that walking into the room was unexpected, and the first game—the test—was incredibly intense.
It wasn’t what we anticipated, but it forced us to concentrate on the present moment.
We put in a lot of preparation, but it turned out to be unnecessary, so it felt like a lot of effort went to waste, he explained.
At the start of the game, Raul and Jacob were separated, and it seemed like only one of them could keep playing. However, that wasn’t quite the case.
Jacob explained that when he and his twin were separated, he felt completely overwhelmed. One moment they were together in the crowd, and the next, he was suddenly the center of attention.
We were both shocked and unsure of what was happening next, feeling completely overwhelmed. I just told myself we needed to give it our all, and accept whatever the outcome might be. Even if we ended up competing against each other, we’d both try our best and see how things unfolded.
It’s ironic, we started the game wanting to work as a team, but immediately we were separated and ended up facing off against each other. I honestly thought the worst possible thing had happened, and after that, everything fell apart. Our whole strategy of staying united and playing it safe just didn’t work.
