In a recent update, version 1.5 of Stalker 2 from GSC Game World has been rolled out. This update enhances the already buzzworthy A-Life system even further, introduces fresh dangers to contend with, and offers additional content as well.
Moving forward from May’s Update 1.4, the primary focus of Update 1.5 is significantly enhancing the A-Life AI system. It’s worth noting that when the game was initially launched in November, this feature was not fully developed.
According to the official updates, the A-Life system now stands for “the entire game world is populated with autonomous characters who carry on with their own agendas, not just those visible to you”. This implies that while playing, characters will be engaged in their activities even when they’re out of your sight. Moreover, these changes in the A-Life system aim to make the AI behavior more realistic and immersive within the game.

Besides the introduction of the innovative A-Life system, prepare yourself for an additional challenge: the Water Electric Tornado. As its title hints, it’s not going to be a pleasant experience should you cross paths with it.
Absolutely, the latest update includes numerous bug fixes and adjustments to game balance, so if you’ve encountered any issues in the Zone due to glitches, it might be wise to return. It’s possible that your specific problem hasn’t been addressed yet, but it’s worth trying out the update, right?
If you haven’t encountered it yet, “Stalker 2” is the much-anticipated follow-up to the 2007 game, originally known as “Stalker: Shadow of Chornobyl” (now renamed to align with the Ukrainian spelling of the city, following the release of its remastered version).
Similar to the original, the game invites you to delve into the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone, where you’ll be hunting for artifacts. Additionally, you’ll encounter a diverse array of characters, whose depth and complexity has been amplified through the integration of the A-Life system.
At present, you can play “Stalker 2” on your PC and Xbox Series X|S. As of now, there’s no official announcement about its release on PS5, but considering the amicable relationship Xbox has been fostering with PlayStation lately, a potential future launch seems plausible.
