Fuse Games just dropped a new trailer for their upcoming racing game, Star Wars: Galactic Racer. Revealed during Summer Game Fest 2026, the trailer gives a look at the game’s story. It features narration about the risks of racing in the Galactic Racing League, along with exciting, fast-paced gameplay and lots of explosions!
The trailer largely focuses on the darker side of the racing world, with numerous antagonists warning the main character to back down. These warnings are mixed with exciting gameplay clips showcasing the high-speed action, particularly several scenes of pod racing.
Matt Webster, founder and CEO of the studio, shared in February that they don’t intend to focus on making a lot of money from Star Wars: Galactic Racer. He described it as a high-quality game with a story campaign, an arcade mode, and options for multiplayer. Kieran Crimmins, the creative director, added that delivering a premium experience with Star Wars: Galactic Racer is a key goal for the entire Fuse Games team.
We’re focusing on launching a polished, high-quality game right from the start. While we’re not ruling out future updates or additions, our priority now is to make the initial release the best and most complete experience possible.
Star Wars: Galactic Racer is coming to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S on October 6th.
