Ugh, Steam is acting up right before Christmas! I was hoping to dive into some games during my break, but it’s being a pain. It seems to be down for a lot of people, I’ve seen reports everywhere. The good news is I can launch games, though they’re taking forever to start up. But the Steam Store is totally down, which is a disaster because the holiday sale is going on with a bunch of awesome deals until January 5th. I can’t browse or buy anything right now, which is super frustrating!
Other parts of the Steam app, like user profiles and group pages, are also stuck loading or are showing errors. Valve hasn’t said anything about the problem yet, but we’ll update this article as soon as we have more information.
