Stephen Colletti’s Wife Alex Weaver Is Pregnant, Expecting First Baby

Stephen Colletti and Alex Weaver are about to ride the wave of parenthood.

The couple, who starred on Laguna Beach and is a NASCAR reporter, announced they are expecting their first child just three months after getting married.

Stephen, 39, and Alex recently shared sweet photos on Instagram. One shows Stephen gently holding Alex’s baby bump while she smiles. The other picture features the couple, both wearing white sweatshirts and jeans, walking hand-in-hand along the beach.

As the duo captioned the joint Jan. 20 post alongside a white heart emoji, “Mom & Dad.”

His former castmates from Laguna Beach were thrilled by the news. Alex Murrel simply wrote “Congrats!!!” with a heart emoji, while Jason Wahler expressed his surprise and excitement, saying “Wait, what!!!?? Congrats man!!!!”

Their baby news comes just three months after the duo tied the knot in a low-key ceremony Oct. 3.

Alex, 32, looked stunning on her wedding day in a long-sleeved white mini dress by Nadine Merabi. She completed her bridal look with matching white heels and a bouquet of flowers. Her husband, known for his role in One Tree Hill, wore a classic black suit with a white shirt.

The caption of the joint Instagram post simply read, with a white heart emoji, “Mr. & Mrs.”

Although the couple kept their vows private, they previously offered a peek into how they planned their wedding.

Stephen, who proposed to Alex in Rome two years after their first date, told TopMob News in March 2024 that they’re considering many possibilities for their wedding. They’re enjoying being engaged while also working to decide on the details.

Specifically, Alex and Stephen were toying with how grand they wanted their special day to be.

He said that if they have a large wedding, many people from his past will be invited. However, they’re also considering a very small, private ceremony with just a few guests.

Instead, the couple was more interested in “something a little more intimate.”

It’s funny to recall when Teen Vogue‘s Lisa Love famously told Lauren Conrad she’d forever be known as the girl who skipped Paris – a line originally spoken by Vogue‘s Anna Wintour, as a 2019 revisit of The Hills revealed.

More than ten years after that controversial choice and her breakup with Jason Wahler, Lauren has achieved much more. She’s a New York Times bestselling author, co-founded The Little Market to support female artisans globally, and has built a successful lifestyle brand, starting with her Kohl’s line, LC Lauren Conrad.

She’s moved on from the drama of her younger days, marrying musician and lawyer William Tell in a dreamy Pinterest-worthy wedding in 2014. They now have two sons: Liam James Tell and, born in October 2019, Charlie Wolf Tell.

Known for her outspoken personality, Kristin Cavallari has successfully transitioned from reality TV to entrepreneurship. Her lifestyle brand, Uncommon James, will open its fourth store in Charleston in 2024, adding to her ventures which include a shoe line with Chinese Laundry and three cookbooks. After a decade together, she and former NFL quarterback Jay Cutler welcomed three children – Camden Jack, Jaxon Wyatt, and Saylor James – before separating in April 2020.

Following a split from Mark Estes in September 2024, Cavallari is now navigating the dating world. She told TopMob News in 2023 that while she’s been on many dates, she doesn’t have time for anything superficial. “I don’t like a lot of people and I don’t think I’m picky,” she explained, “I just don’t have time for bullst anymore.”

Jason Wahler, known for his rebellious behavior on reality shows like Laguna Beach and The Hills, faced numerous problems after his time on television, including drug use, DUIs, and legal troubles. He finally got help by appearing on Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew Pinsky.

Jason later married his girlfriend, Ashley Slack, and credits her with helping him stay sober. Together, they have three children: Delilah Ray (born August 2017), Wyatt Ragle (born June 2021), and August Robert (born May 2025). As the founder of Widespread Recovery, Jason continues to share his experiences with addiction, both on The Hills: New Beginnings and through his YouTube series, JAWS Diaries with Jason & Ashley Wahler.

Now living in Nashville, Jason has reconnected with Kristen, a friend he grew apart from. He shared with TopMob News in 2023 that they’ve become close again since moving to Tennessee, and she’s been a supportive friend throughout his journey.

After fueling fan fiction about a love triangle with Kristin and Stephen, actor Laguna is now concentrating on his acting career. He was a regular on The CW’s One Tree Hill for five seasons and appeared as Taylor Swift’s love interest in her “White Horse” music video. He also briefly worked as a VJ on the original Total Request Live on MTV.

More recently, he starred in the 2018 TV movie Hometown Christmas and Hulu’s Everyone Is Doing Great, alongside his former One Tree Hill co-star James Lafferty.

As for his relationship with podcast co-host Kristin, it’s over. Stephen proposed to NASCAR reporter Alex Weaver in November 2023. He told TopMob News in 2024 that they’re enjoying being engaged while still planning the details of their wedding.

The newlyweds chose a simple and elegant way to announce their marriage, sharing a photo on Instagram on October 3, 2025, with the caption “Mr. & Mrs.”

For a long time, Lauren Conrad made it clear she didn’t want to revisit her time on The Hills. She remembered telling an executive, “Absolutely not!” when asked about returning, and stated she wanted no connection with anyone from the show, craving distance from that part of her life.

After changing careers and moving to New York City, where she graduated from The International Culinary Center and authored The Lo-Down, she founded Love Wellness, a line of personal care products for women, in 2016.

In a 2024 interview, she explained that while she isn’t in constant contact with most of her former castmates, that’s normal after twenty years. She remains friendly with everyone and would happily reconnect if she saw them.

Lauren married businessman Domenic “Dom” Natale in a small Laguna Beach wedding in July 2025, and they are expecting their first child in 2026.

She shared that she’s finally living the life she always wanted, having achieved many of her goals. Now, she’s focused on maintaining her happiness, health, family, and spending time with loved ones.

Before settling down, actor Talan Torriero had short-term relationships with K.Cav, Kimberly Stewart, and Nicole Scherzinger. He met his future wife, Danielle Torriero, at a Los Angeles bar on her 21st birthday in 2009.

They later moved from California to Danielle’s home state of Nebraska, where they are building a home on a nearly one-acre property. The couple married in June 2014 and have three children: Bronson, born in October 2017, Hudson, born in December 2020, and Anderson Tito, born in June 2023.

Talan told TopMob News he was immediately struck by Danielle when they first met. “I remember thinking, ‘Who is that?’” he said. “We started talking, and she told me she was from Nebraska. I didn’t even know where that was! And now, 14 years later, here I am, living there.”

That first runway show was just the beginning for him. After leaving Laguna, Trey moved to New York City to attend Parsons School of Design, graduating in 2010 with a degree in both fashion design and renewable energy. He stayed in New York, working as an associate designer at Vera Wang, and also spent time in London.

In 2023, he founded Motion Illustrated, sharing on his website that after over a decade of designing for major fashion brands, he was ready to showcase his own style. He generally keeps a low profile on social media, but has occasionally shared photos of his partner, Kasumi.

Lauren and Stephen’s close friend pursued a career in hospitality and now works as the general manager of the Sofitel New York, leaving his previous life by the beach behind.

He remains close to his high school friends, including Lauren, Stephen (who was a groomsman), Trey, and Loren Polster. They all attended his wedding to Isabell Hiebl in Monterey, California, in 2016. The couple, who consider Austria a second home, welcomed their son, Nico Josef Schmitz, in September 2018, and their daughter, Leni, in March 2023.

After appearing on Laguna Beach, KCav’s friend mostly stepped away from television. She briefly made headlines again in 2007 with a DUI arrest, but then settled down in Texas with her husband, Michael Evans, whom she describes as incredibly kind and loving. They have four children. She now focuses on family and occasionally shares updates on her blog and Amazon shop, jokingly saying she’s just trying to keep track of her kids.

Remember when Alex and Jessica were both vying for Jason’s affection? That feels like a long time ago! Alex married Kyle Johnson in 2014, with Morgan Olson, Alex H., and Taylor Cole as bridesmaids. They now have three sons: Levi (born in 2016), Kase (born in 2018), and Rome (born in April 2021). Alex used her communications degree from Chapman University to co-found MOX Agency, a social media marketing company, also in 2014.

I’ve been following Morgan’s journey for years, and it’s always amazed me how grounded she’s stayed. When she first joined MTV back in 2004, she wasn’t chasing fame at all – she just wanted to document her high school years with her friends, as she told Time magazine. And honestly, no amount of attention was going to change her core goals! She always had a clear vision for her life. After graduating from Brigham Young University in 2008 with a degree in humanities and journalism, she married Joel Smith just two years later. She’s always said she wanted the things she’s achieved – college, travel, marriage, and building a career – regardless of being on TV. Now, she’s a designer with her Minnow Swim brand, and she’s moved to South Carolina where she recently opened a showroom in Charleston. Most importantly, she’s a mom to three wonderful kids: Theo, Georgia, and Julian. It’s so inspiring to see someone stay true to themselves, even with everything life throws at them!

Casey didn’t start on the original cast of Laguna Beach, but she definitely made an impact when she joined the show. Since then, she’s become a successful baker, opening Casey’s Cupcakes in Orange County and even winning Cupcake Wars on the Food Network in 2011.

Her personal life is equally happy. She’s been married to Sean Brown (who is related to the late Nicole Brown Simpson) since August 2015, and they have three children: daughter Kensington and sons Sean Brown Jr. and Conrad.

Just under three years after attending Taylor’s wedding to Kevin Simshauser in October 2015, Taylor and a friend both discovered they were expecting babies, only eight weeks apart. She welcomed her daughter, Tatum, in September 2018, followed by sons Cole in January 2020 and Olson in August 2022. As the founder of Taylor Cole Holistic Nutrition, she also shares glimpses into her life on Instagram.
