Ahead of the final episodes of Stranger Things Season 5, Netflix showed off new popcorn buckets and other merchandise to mark the occasion. After a long wait, and with an exceptionally long final episode, Netflix is preparing to wrap up one of its most popular original series. As part of the celebration, the show is joining the trend of blockbuster movies by releasing special popcorn buckets.
Target has revealed its official popcorn bucket for the upcoming final episode of Stranger Things Season 5. The bucket is designed to look like a Demogorgon, with the lid shaped like the monster’s head and the bucket body featuring an image of its full form.

When you open the lid, five sections reveal the Demogorgon’s mouth – its gums and rows of teeth, which you might recognize from other Stranger Things items.

The listing says you open the popcorn bucket by twisting the lid, which makes the petals open up. It costs $19.87, but may not always be in stock.

Regal Cinemas is also selling a special “Stranger Things” combo called The Party Combo. It comes with a large Cherry Icee, a Demodog Hotdog, and a large Hellfire Buffalo Popcorn. The price depends on which Regal location you visit.

The popular Netflix series Stranger Things is currently filming its fifth and final season, having first premiered in 2016. The show, which stars Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Caleb McLaughlin, Sadie Sink, David Harbour, and Gaten Matarazzo, is set in Hawkins, Indiana, and focuses on the town facing both a military occupation and the dangers of the Upside Down. The finale of Season 5 will be released in theaters and on Netflix on December 31st, and will be shown in select cinemas until January 1st, 2026.
The End of an Era for Netflix’s Stranger Things

These special edition popcorn buckets are being released to celebrate the end of Stranger Things, which has become one of Netflix’s most popular shows. The series will conclude with a movie-length final episode shown in theaters – it’s the longest one yet, clocking in at over two hours.
Netflix promoted the finale with trailers hinting at over a dozen major, emotional moments for the main characters. It’s clear the studio wants to leverage the actors’ decade-long connection to create a powerful emotional impact, combined with a level of action and drama that’s unusual for streaming series.
Honestly, I’m on the edge of my seat! Max is stuck inside Vecna’s terrifying world, and Dr. Kay is after Eleven, desperate to exploit her abilities. Everything is coming to a head in Hawkins, and it feels like the fate of everyone we care about hangs in the balance. This season is truly intense!
