Fans of Stranger Things: Tales From ’85 are getting more of the Hawkins crew’s adventures! The show, which takes place between seasons 2 and 3, has been renewed for a second season by Netflix. Everything We Know About Stranger Things: Tales From ’85 Season 2

Now that season 2 has been confirmed, we can get a good sense of what’s coming based on how season 1 ended, the new season’s description, and comments from the show’s creator, Eric Robles.
Season 1 ends with the kids of Hawkins finally defeating the monster that caused all the trouble. Eleven manages to close the gate to the Upside Down just as the creature is trying to come through, splitting it in two. The episode concludes with a hint that while the top half of the monster is dead, a strange blue flower grows from it, leaving the future of the Upside Down uncertain for season 2.
Eric Robles, the showrunner, shared a bit about what fans can expect in season two. He said working on the first season was a wonderful experience, and seeing people connect with the characters – both longtime fans and new viewers – has been really gratifying. He’s looking forward to continuing the story.
Season two brings us back to the winter of 1985! The Hawkins investigators are back on the case, facing a new supernatural danger that’s risen from the town’s old, disused silver mines. According to creator Robles, fans will be excited to see where this new threat – and the strange blue flower seen in the Upside Down at the end of last season – leads our heroes next.
All the original voice actors from season one are back for season two, including Odessa A’zion, who plays the new character Nikki Baxter. Plus, new episodes are coming this fall!
Stranger Things: Tales From ’85 is now streaming on Netflix.
