With the current season of Strictly Come Dancing still underway, people are already starting to guess who will be on the show’s Christmas special later this year.
While the BBC hasn’t officially announced the cast yet, rumors are circulating that Will Best, the host of Big Brother, will be a contestant on this year’s Christmas dance competition in December.
According to a source speaking to The Sun, BBC executives were interested in having Best appear on Strictly Come Dancing after his time on Big Brother.
Sources say Angellica Bell is likely to be in the Christmas special of Strictly Come Dancing. She’s a big fan of the show, but whether she appears depends on scheduling, and discussions are currently happening.
This year’s Christmas special will be a particularly touching one, as it will be the last time Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman host the show.
The duo announced their departure from the show last month, and the BBC has confirmed they’ll appear for the last time on Christmas Day. Information about who will take their place will be announced later.
Suzy Lamb, head of entertainment at BBC Studios, also expressed sadness about Tess and Claudia leaving Strictly. She said Tess consistently brought grace, style, and a real passion to the show since the beginning.
