The creative team at Cyanide Studio, in collaboration with publisher Nacon, have unveiled a fresh trailer for the upcoming release titled “Styx: Blades of Greed.” The trailer offers a sneak peek into several levels within the game, while also highlighting its humorous mood, which you can enjoy by clicking on the video below.
In the latest trailer, we see that the protagonist, Styx, has multiple stealthy methods at his disposal, equipped with innovative devices for silencing and eliminating human adversaries. The trailer concludes by revealing snippets of the game’s broader narrative and demonstrating a hang glider that Styx can utilize to traverse the environment.
Among the resources available to Styx are his skills such as conjuring a goblin from a nearby cupboard for surprise attacks on patrolling guards. In dire situations, he can also employ some magical powers to move swiftly and eventually utilize his daggers to neutralize guards blocking his path.
The third installment in the series, titled “Styx: Blades of Greed,” continues the storyline that began with the original “Styx: Master of Shadows” and its 2017 sequel “Styx: Shards of Darkness“. Originally announced in March, this game is expected to launch on PC via Steam, as well as on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S later in the year.
