Summer House’s West Makes Bold Confession About Future With Amanda

Just a day after news broke that the sports journalist was leaving Summer House after being on the show for three seasons, West appeared one last time during the season 10 reunion special called Aftermath.

The latest episode, filmed on May 20th and airing June 16th, continued to explore the aftermath of the relationship between West and Amanda Batula. West had an honest conversation with Amanda’s soon-to-be ex-husband, Kyle Cooke. When he arrived at Kyle’s apartment, West seemed resigned, admitting he felt his time on the show was done, especially after the intense three-part reunion where he and Amanda faced tough questions from the cast, including West’s former partner, Ciara Miller.

West explained that he only fully began to reflect on everything and understand its impact in the past two weeks. He acknowledged that because of his previous statements, people might not trust him now, but stated his intention was to have a sincere discussion today.

Kyle was blunt about how Michael misled Ciara while also pursuing Amanda, who is still going through a divorce from her husband. Even though Michael’s actions hurt their friends and involved dishonesty, he maintains that his relationship with Amanda is genuine.

He admitted he couldn’t suddenly convince me he was a completely different person. However, he explained that his relationship with Amanda felt real because it grew from a genuine three-year friendship – there were no hidden motives or attempts to impress anyone.

Honestly, I have a lot of regrets, but I truly don’t regret a single thing about how I felt for Amanda, or how much I cared for her. It just was, and I can’t apologize for something that was real and genuine.

Kyle, who revealed his divorce from Amanda was finalized in January, asked West if he was looking for a serious, exclusive relationship. West replied that he was ready.

But does West love Amanda?

“I mean, yeah,” he told Kyle. “I really care about her a f–king ton.”

West admitted it was difficult to say directly, but he expressed hope that his actions and treatment of Amanda would show he cares and isn’t taking the situation lightly. He acknowledged this process will take time.

As West was being honest with Kyle, Amanda had a very emotional conversation with Lindsay Hubbard. Lindsay pressed them for more details following the dramatic reunion show taping. Amanda revealed that West’s attention during her split from Kyle actually helped her overcome a serious bout of depression.

Just like West, Amanda shared that they’ve had serious conversations about their future as a couple.

I understood how serious things were,” the 34-year-old explained to Lindsay. “I thought to myself, ‘If you genuinely care for me, and you mean what you say, this can’t just be a casual relationship. You’d have to be thinking about a future together, and about having kids relatively soon.’

She added, “We haven’t talked about having kids, but we’ve had these conversations.” 

In the end, Amanda confessed she felt foolish about how things had unfolded with West. Lindsay then gave her some blunt but necessary advice.

He bluntly told them they should be ashamed of themselves. He urged them to distance themselves from Kanye West, comparing the situation to the Titanic and advising them to let go and move on, saying West needed to be left behind.

Amanda’s reply? “I know.”

Status: Together

After years of friendship, Amanda and West began sparking romance rumors in 2026, and eventually confirmed their feelings had grown into something more. This came at a complicated time, as Amanda’s close friend, Ciara Miller, had previously dated West for several months before a difficult breakup in 2023.

In a statement released in March 2026, the couple shared that their recent relationship was a complete surprise to both of them. They explained that it developed from a close, long-term friendship and that they wanted to handle things thoughtfully because of that.

Status: Married 

The show likely changed locations this season because comedians Hannah and Des jokingly had sex in Kyle and Amanda’s bathroom, but at least Hannah and Des are still a couple.

The couple got married on the beach in 2022 after dating for two years, and they clearly enjoy each other’s company – they’re both comedians, so there’s always a lot of laughter!

Hannah shared with People magazine soon after their 2021 engagement that they have a wonderful connection: ‘He accepts me for who I am, and we always find reasons to laugh. We genuinely make each other happy.’

She explained that she was captivated by his way of thinking, deeply valued his guidance, and had a great deal of respect for him.

Though fans of Summer House really wanted this couple to make it, they announced their split in January 2026. They had been married for four years and together for almost ten.

Kyle recently shared with Bravo that going through a public split is incredibly difficult to prepare for. Her main focus now is ensuring Amanda is doing okay, and she’s deeply grateful for Amanda’s support during this challenging time.

Although they haven’t officially divorced, Amanda revealed she was starting a new relationship with West in March 2026.

West and Ciara’s relationship has been rocky since it began in 2022, but it appears to be over for good. West recently confirmed he is dating Amanda, who is also a close friend of Ciara’s, back in March 2026.

Although West and Ciara announced their split before the start of Summer House season 10 in February 2026, Ciara hinted that they might have been trying to reconcile. In episode seven, she admitted there was still some “attraction” between them.

While this Southern Charm–Summer House pair appeared to be going the distance after getting together in 2021, they ultimately called it quits in 2024. 

In a 2024 episode of Giggly Squad, Paige shared her deep affection and admiration for Craig, calling him one of the greatest people she’s ever known. She expressed unwavering support for his future success, believing he deserves all good things because of how wonderful he is.

She explained their breakup by saying it was the best choice for them to pursue their individual paths without trying to make things work when they weren’t a good fit anymore.

This relationship perfectly captures both the highs and lows of modern dating. Their on-again, off-again dynamic was a major focus of season four, but it caused significant drama within the house the next summer. It’s hard to believe they were once considered a potential power couple back in 2020.

Oh my gosh, can you believe it? It all started when Des finally messaged Hannah on Instagram back in 2020! And then Luke… well, he dated Ciara for a little bit, but honestly, the real magic happened with Tayshia Adams. They were so cute together, even though things sadly didn’t work out by 2025. I was devastated when they split, seriously!

Both of the newcomers on season 10 began their time on the show single in Summer 2025, but they soon became a couple and are still happily together now.

Let’s be real, I’ve seen this pattern before. Carl Radke has a tendency to make choices he later regrets, and his fling with one of the Wirkus sisters was a prime example. She was definitely looking for something serious, but he wasn’t on the same page, and honestly, you never want to mess with a twin! When you hurt one, you’ve got a whole other person ready to defend her – it’s a recipe for drama, and in this case, a rightfully furious sister.

Although the pair permanently split in 2018, Carl accepted full responsibility for what caused their breakup.

In a 2019 interview with The Daily Dish, Carl explained that he attributed his past behavior to immaturity. He also admitted having difficulty expressing his feelings honestly and communicating effectively with her.

Lindsay and Everett are one of the original couples from Summer House, having joined the show together in 2017. They deserve credit for successfully remaining friends despite their difficult breakup.

In 2023, Everett married Courtney Cavanagh, and surprisingly, his ex-wife Lindsay attended the wedding, which took place in Ireland. This showed they were on good terms.

Looking back at 2021, it was awkward seeing how things unfolded between Ciara and Luke. Despite a short romance, they eventually became friends—though their relationship remained a little tense—and that’s how Ciara joined the cast of Summer House.

Paige and her boyfriend of a year mostly kept their relationship private in 2020, as he didn’t want to appear on camera. A year later, she started dating Craig Conover, but they broke up in 2024.

Though they initially shared a playful connection during the first few episodes of Summer House, things remained platonic until they admitted their feelings for each other at Kyle and Amanda’s wedding in 2021 – which then sparked a fast-moving romance.

I was so surprised when Lindsay announced she was expecting just months after things ended with her previous partner! She welcomed her little girl, Gemma, with Tanner Kufe in 2024, and I couldn’t have been happier for her. It’s been wonderful watching her journey into motherhood.

I was such a big fan of Danielle and Robert – honestly, they seemed like the perfect couple on Summer House! It was so sad to hear they broke up in 2023. At first, Danielle said it was all good between them, a friendly split. But then she saw how fast Robert started dating someone new, and that definitely changed things for her. It’s tough to watch when something like that happens.

Let me tell you, as someone who’s seen this pattern play out countless times… I just knew something was up. Danielle shared with me that she found out her ex was seeing a coworker – the very same coworker I’d warned her about during our last difficult conversation! He actually told me I was overreacting at the time, but honestly? Women’s intuition is rarely wrong.

Danielle has since gone public with new boyfriend, tech entrepreneur Eoin Heavey.

Their relationship in 2018 was very short-lived, it’s hard to believe they were ever together. Although there was some drama when they dated, they parted ways amicably—Carl even expressed sadness when Paige left Summer House in 2025.

Carl shared with TopMob News that he loved Paige and was disappointed she couldn’t continue, acknowledging she had a busy summer.
