Corey Feldman is on the road to recovery.

Corey Feldman, age 54, received medical attention from paramedics after experiencing a health scare on a flight landing at Los Angeles International Airport on June 15th, according to his representative who spoke with USA Today.

A representative for Feldman announced on June 16th that he had been hospitalized and diagnosed with severe food poisoning. He spent the night resting and underwent an MRI to confirm the diagnosis.

Thankfully, the announcement shared that Corey Haim, known from The Lost Boys, is recovering and has left the hospital. He’s grateful for all the support and kind messages he’s received and wants everyone to know he appreciates it.

Corey Feldman and his Stand by Me co-stars, Jerry O’Connell and Wil Wheaton, were finishing up a cross-country tour in Chicago celebrating the 40th anniversary of the beloved movie. Feldman explained that the live events were a way to honor the film’s late director, Rob Reiner, who passed away in 2025, and to encourage fans to remember and appreciate his life’s work. He called it “the best way we can say goodbye.”

Things are looking up for Feldman, and his recovery couldn’t have come at a better moment. He’s also been focusing on his music, and his new single, “What Am I Here 4?”, will be released on June 22nd.

Singer-songwriter Feldman, who has released six albums since 1994, described his new song as immediately captivating and relentlessly energetic. He hinted in a press release on June 16th that this is only a preview of more music to come, stating, “This is just the beginning.”

Lupita Nyong’o received a diagnosis of uterine fibroids – non-cancerous tumors that grow on or near the uterus – in 2014, which was also the year she won an Academy Award for her role in 12 Years a Slave.

I was so moved when she finally shared her story in 2025. She wrote on Instagram that she’d been quietly battling this for over ten years, and it really resonated with me to hear her talk about suffering in silence for so long.

Growing up, many girls are told to expect period pain and accept it as a normal part of womanhood. This often leaves us dealing with these challenges on our own, even though they’re incredibly common.

In July 2025, the actress from Daisy Jones & The Six revealed she was hospitalized for a hernia. This happened because she’d been wearing pants that were too tight, which caused a gap in her abdominal muscles.

She messaged Suki on X (formerly Twitter), saying, “I haven’t tweeted in ages!” Then she jokingly added, “Have you thought maybe those super-tight pants I wore six months ago gave me a hernia and I’ve just been too afraid to mention it?”

In April 2025, the former star of Beverly Hills, 90210 shared that he was getting better after having surgery for a near-ruptured appendix.

I was really worried when Brian shared a video last week explaining he’d been having stomach pain. He said he’d gone to the ER and found out he had a perforated appendix – thankfully it hadn’t fully burst yet, but it was incredibly close! It was such a relief to hear he caught it in time.

Adam Devine revealed that injuries from a childhood accident – he was hit by a cement truck when he was 11 – continue to cause him problems now.

I was absolutely shocked listening to Devine on Graham Bensinger’s podcast in 2025. He described the last year as a nightmare, explaining he’s been dealing with spasms all over his body. What really hit me hard was when he said doctors actually told him he was dying – that’s how serious it got.

He explained that his pain is intermittent, and described having some physical imperfections, saying, “My body just has a few things that aren’t quite right.”

A former contestant on The Bachelor went to the hospital in severe back pain, even having to crawl because it was so bad. The pain flared up during a road trip with a friend while they were traveling in an RV.

He described a lingering tingling sensation in his knees and toes, saying it was “crazy” during a March 2025 episode of his Trading Secrets podcast. To illustrate how significant this was, he explained that just a few weeks or a month prior, he was able to squat 295 pounds. Now, he can’t even do a squat or stand on one leg without falling, comparing the feeling to having had a stroke.

But with the help of a back specialist and some steroids, he added, “We’re on the mend.”

She urged everyone to embrace their loved ones, emphasizing the importance of showing affection whenever possible.

Amy Schumer is grateful for the internet despite its downsides, because it ultimately helped her discover a health issue. After noticing she looked “puffier,” Schumer received criticism online. Surprisingly, doctors began commenting, suggesting she might have Cushing syndrome due to high cortisol levels or steroid injections. This prompted Schumer to realize she’d been receiving steroid injections after a breast reduction and C-section. She wouldn’t have known about the condition without the feedback she got online. In February 2024, Schumer shared that doctors determined her case of Cushing syndrome would resolve on its own, which was incredibly relieving news.

During a December 2024 game, an AHL player was accidentally cut in the face by another player’s skate, requiring 25 stitches to close the wound. In March 2022, Hailey Bieber experienced a frightening health scare while having breakfast with her husband, Justin Bieber. She began to have stroke-like symptoms, initially unable to respond when Justin asked if she was alright. When she tried to speak, she couldn’t, and the right side of her face started to droop.

Although these symptoms eventually subsided, Hailey went to the hospital where doctors discovered a small blood clot had traveled to her brain, causing what they called a TIA (Transient Ischemic Attack).

Further testing at UCLA revealed Hailey has a patent foramen ovale (PFO), a hole in the heart. Doctors determined the blood clot had passed through this opening and reached her brain.

Hailey underwent a successful procedure to close the PFO and is now recovering well.

The same year Hailey faced a health issue, Justin also experienced one. In June 2022, he revealed he had been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, a condition that caused temporary paralysis on one side of his face. This forced him to cancel the remaining dates of his Justice World Tour.

In a video posted to Instagram, Justin explained the virus affected nerves in his ear and face, preventing him from blinking, smiling, or moving his nostril on the affected side. He also shared it was becoming increasingly difficult for him to eat. Thankfully, the paralysis eventually subsided.

Hailey shared on Good Morning America that Justin was recovering well and feeling much better. She described the situation as scary and unexpected, but expressed her relief that he was going to be okay.

Jamie Foxx recently shared details about the serious health scare he experienced in April 2023, which he had previously kept private. In his 2024 Netflix special, What Had Happened Was…, Foxx explained that he suffered from a severe headache one day and lost consciousness before he could take an aspirin. He doesn’t remember the next 20 days.

Initially, a doctor gave him a cortisone shot and sent him home, but his sister, Deidra Dixon, became worried and took him to the hospital. There, doctors discovered he had a brain bleed that led to a stroke.

After surgery, it took twenty days for Foxx to regain consciousness. He woke up on May 4th unable to walk and had to use a wheelchair. He then traveled to Chicago for rehabilitation and therapy.

Foxx expressed his gratitude for the support he received, saying, “I appreciate every prayer, because I needed every prayer.”

She shared on the show Fit for TV: The Reality of The Biggest Loser that her memory of the event was fragmented. She recalled hearing a helicopter, feeling like she was floating, and then seeing her grandfather. After that, she remembers only darkness, followed by light, leading her to realize she had died that day.

Oh my god, it was terrifying! She said her body was actually failing – like, organs shutting down! Apparently, she had this thing called rhabdomyolysis, and she explained it’s basically your body’s way of just…giving up. It’s horrifying to think about, honestly. Like, a complete system failure! I was on the edge of my seat hearing her describe it.

Emilia Clarke, known for her role in Game of Thrones, revealed a harrowing health battle in a 2019 essay for The New Yorker. While filming the show, she experienced a sudden, severe headache while at the gym. She described collapsing and being violently ill, realizing something was seriously wrong with her brain.

A hospital scan quickly revealed a subarachnoid hemorrhage – a life-threatening stroke caused by bleeding around the brain. She had suffered an aneurysm, a rupture in an artery. Emergency surgery was performed to repair it, but the pain was excruciating.

During her recovery, Emilia experienced aphasia, leaving her unable to speak clearly. Thankfully, this passed after a week, and she was discharged from the hospital after a month. However, a brain scan in 2013 revealed the aneurysm had grown, requiring a second surgery.

This second procedure was unsuccessful, causing a major bleed and putting her life at risk. Doctors had to perform a more invasive surgery, accessing her brain directly through her skull. Despite these terrifying experiences, Emilia is now thankfully fully recovered and says she is “at a hundred per cent.”

Cori’s hospital stay was extended due to other health issues; she also battles lupus and experienced kidney problems alongside the stroke. However, she is now recovering well.

“I’m doing great,” Cori said. She had some motor skills to regain, but overall feels good and is on the mend.
