‘Take My Goddamn Money’: PS5 Fans Seem Ready for Electrifying inFAMOUS Collection

An electrifying 82% of PS5 fans asked on Push Square said you’d buy some kind of inFAMOUS Collection.

A recent poll of over 3,000 people showed strong interest in a compilation of Sucker Punch’s PlayStation 3 superhero games, with 61% saying they would definitely buy it.

Another 21% of respondents expressed interest in the bundle, but want more information, such as the price and what’s been improved. We understand that’s reasonable.

So, I checked the feedback, and it’s looking pretty good! Only about 3% of people said they’re completely not interested in the game, and another 8% said they might grab it if it goes on sale. That means the vast majority are at least a little curious, which is awesome!

A collection starring Cole MacGrath is probably coming soon, following reports from VGC’s Jordan Middler.

As a big fan of inFAMOUS, I found this really interesting! Colin Moriarty from Sacred Symbols pointed out that Sucker Punch actually took down an old blog post where they specifically said they weren’t working on a new inFAMOUS game. It’s a small thing, but it definitely makes me wonder if they’re secretly developing one now!

I’ve heard Nate Fox, who used to be the main creative guy, is really keen on doing some remasters, which is awesome! Right now, there’s no way to play the original inFAMOUS or its sequel on my PS5 without some serious workarounds, so a remaster would be a dream come true.

The original inFAMOUS game was a lot of fun, but it showed its age visually on the PS3, as Sucker Punch was still learning after working on the Sly Cooper games. It would be fantastic to see a remastered version with updated graphics and native PS5 support.

These poll results suggest that dedicated PlayStation 5 fans are interested in these remakes, so everyone is now waiting for next week’s State of Play presentation to confirm if the project is actually happening.
