Tekken 8 Adds Kunimitsu on May 27th for Season 3 Pass Holders, June 1st for All Players

I’m so excited! Kunimitsu is officially coming to Tekken 8 on June 1st! If you’ve got the Season 3 Character Pass, you can even start playing as her a little early, on May 27th. They just dropped her debut trailer, and it looks amazing – you can check it out below!

Kunimitsu is a skilled ninja who defeats enemies using speed, martial arts, ninja techniques, and a special sword. She’s known for quick moves like turning an opponent’s attack against them with a stab, teleporting to dodge attacks and then striking back in the air, quickly closing in for a strike, and throwing opponents before finishing with a powerful slam.

What’s really interesting is that Kunimitsu and Reina have a history together. She also knows Raven, as he was trained by her father. For those unfamiliar or who haven’t played Tekken 7, this Kunimitsu isn’t the original – she’s the daughter of the Kunimitsu who first appeared in the original Tekken game.

More fighters are coming to the game this year! Bob will be available this summer, and Roger Jr. will join in the fall. Another fighter and a new stage are planned for winter. Everyone is also excited about a possible collaboration character, and many believe it could be Tifa Lockheart from Final Fantasy 7, but we’ll have to wait for official confirmation.
