Kunimitsu, the masked ninja, is coming back to Tekken 8! Players with the Season 3 Character Pass can start playing as her on May 27th. Everyone else can purchase her separately starting June 1st.
For those familiar with the series, this Kunimitsu is the daughter of the original character, known as Kunimitsu II. She initially appeared as downloadable content in Tekken 7 and is now featured as the first character in the game’s latest Character Pass.
The main character still has many of her classic abilities, but she’s definitely picked up some new ones – like the surprising ability to breathe fire! It’s a bit unexpected, but it certainly makes her a formidable opponent.
The game also includes cool references to the broader Tekken story, such as the possibility that Kunimitsu and Reina trained together. Even more intriguing is the reveal that Raven was taught by his father, who remains a mystery.
Bandai Namco has announced they’ll be revealing the last character in the current Character Pass on May 24th at Combo Breaker, and fans have a lot to be excited about!
