The gaming company Flyhigh Works, along with developer Team9, has made available the Nintendo Switch edition of the text-based game “Word Game” on the Nintendo eShop in Japan at a price of 3,600 yen, as they’ve officially declared.
The word game initially debuted on PC through Steam in its Chinese version on January 21, 2022, and it’s scheduled to be released in its Japanese version on Steam in the year 2025.
Here is an overview of teh game, via Flyhigh Works:
Word Game is literally a game of words.
In addition to constructing stories and user interfaces, words serve as symbols to depict items, figures, and settings.
Player controls “I” to challenge puzzles composed of words.
Upon discovering a concealed chamber, the in-game storyline implies to me that there’s no entrance. Yet, within the context of a verbal puzzle, I am able to ‘pass through’ this non-existent ‘door’, as it is technically referred to as such.
Explore hidden meanings by adjusting or rearranging words within sentences, or even eliminating some altogether. It takes intelligence and courage to successfully accomplish this word puzzle.
May the best “I” win!
