The Best Crime Movie of All Time Is Streaming Free

Throughout Hollywood’s history, there have been numerous outstanding crime thrillers and hilarious dark comedies. However, few creators can blend both genres as masterfully as Joel and Ethan Coen, the acclaimed duo of filmmakers who have produced some of the finest films in recent memory. The Coen Brothers have an impressive collection of crime movies to their name, such as the Oscar-winning “No Country for Old Men”, but a 1996 thriller set in Dakota stands out among their works – it’s not only their best film, but also the pinnacle of crime drama.

Indeed, the movie under discussion is “Fargo,” a darkly amusing mystery that revolves around despicable criminals ensnared in a labyrinth of deceit and ineptitude. It also features a pregnant police officer attempting to unravel the complexities. From its side-splitting dialogues to disposing of bodies in an unusual manner (wood chipper), “Fargo” offers a diverse range of elements, and now you can stream it without charge.

Just added to Tubi’s selection is the film Fargo. This means that anyone interested can watch it without a subscription, provided they are fine with seeing a few advertisements.

In this movie, Frances McDormand plays the role of pregnant police officer Marge Henderson, while William H. Macy portrays a struggling used car salesman who unsuccessfully attempts to outwit some seasoned crooks. The ensemble also features Steve Buscemi delivering an outstanding performance, and the impressive Peter Stormare.

Approximately two decades following the cinema debut of “Fargo”, Noah Hawley resurrected it as an anthology series for FX. Each season presents a unique crime story, maintaining the tone from the original Coen Brothers movie. The series garnered immense fan love and bagged seven Emmy awards over five seasons.
