‘The Best Single Player Campaign and the Best Fighting Game’: Virtua Fighter Crossroads Is the Biggest PS5 Brawler Yet

Okay, so I just saw the latest update – Virtua Fighter Crossroads is looking amazing. Seriously, it feels like they’re really going all-out with this one, and it’s shaping up to be the best Virtua Fighter game ever when it drops in 2027. I’m super hyped!

As hinted at during Summer Game Fest and fully revealed in the recent VF Showcase, this game boasts a large single-player story taking place in the fictional Southeast Asian city of Vilasapara.

The story’s been written by Ghost of Tsushima’s Brad Kane, with oversight from David Hayter.

The game focuses on four main characters, and Cielo is the newest addition, taking over as the central figure from Akira in Virtua Fighter Crossroads.

The video showcases a complete action-adventure game, offering both a main story and optional side quests. Combat is a key part of the experience, and you’ll often face multiple enemies in battles.

If you prefer classic fighting games, you’ll be happy to know that Virtua Fighter’s versus mode stays true to what made the series great.

Hey everyone, I just saw a bunch of gameplay footage from the VF Showcase, and it looks awesome! They’re showing off Pai Chan, Wolf, and a new character named Cielo. It’s kinda funny, actually – some of this video leaked a while back, and that’s how we first found out the game was even coming!

This looks fantastic! As someone who really enjoyed the story mode in Street Fighter 6’s World Tour, I’m excited to see what they’ve done here. It’s awesome that fighting games are starting to focus on single-player experiences again, while still keeping the competitive gameplay that makes them last.

Original Story:

A complete showcase of Virtua Fighter is happening very soon, and I’ll share all the details in a new article shortly.

Let’s take a look at the story mode in Virtua Fighter Crossroads, which features the popular character, Pai Chan.

The creators of the Yakuza series, RGG Studio, are developing this game, and they’re really showcasing their talent for compelling stories.

This will be a distinct game mode separate from the core fighting game, and it’s exciting to see SEGA investing in Virtua Fighter once more after a long time.
