In each new Batman film, it’s safe to anticipate that familiar villains are set to make their appearance. The Joker often causes trouble for the Dark Knight throughout various movie adaptations, even being featured in Matt Reeves’ ‘The Batman’, despite its central plot revolving around the Riddler and his plan to destroy Gotham City. Although Two-Face (Harvey Dent) is absent from the latest Batman standalone film, he may be preparing to make a comeback. Similarly, Poison Ivy and Bane might also be waiting in the wings for their moment to cause chaos. While it can be daring to deviate from established success when Batman’s image is at stake, the DC Universe remains unafraid of taking risks.
In James Gunn’s fresh universe, Batman makes his first significant appearance in the comic book series “Creature Commandos”. It is Doctor Phosphorus who reveals that the vigilante dismantled his criminal network and assisted him in joining Amanda Waller’s squad of monstrous allies. Now, it seems another DCU villain may have been reformed by Batman, and they share a past with an antagonist eager to cause havoc.
The Justice Gang Entertains Recruiting a Batman Villain in Peacemaker Season 2

As I bask in the triumph of defeating the Butterflies, I stride confidently into Season 2 of Peacemaker. Emilia Harcourt’s rejection of my affections has me a tad down, but I’ve got other ventures on the horizon, like an interview with the Justice Gang. Since Leota Adebayo is someone I can trust to stand by me, she offers me a ride to the meeting. She reminds me that I’m more than just a title, but I’m eager to advance.
However, things take a suspicious turn when I reach the specified location and encounter White Rabbit, who’s fleeing the building in tears. It appears Maxwell Lord had humiliated her during the interview, causing a strong reaction from this lesser-known felon.
White Rabbit’s unique attribute lies in her ability to split into two distinct personas: one living a socialite lifestyle in Gotham, while the other takes on criminal activities. Individually, she isn’t much of a challenge for Batman, but when coupled with other villains, she proves to be formidable. It remains uncertain why White Rabbit feels suited for membership in the Justice League, yet her rejection doesn’t boost her self-confidence. She might easily revert to a life of crime and join forces with another villain who enjoys the supernatural realm.
Mad Hatter Is Ready to Make Gotham His Wonderland

Although the Mad Hatter has been a recurring antagonist of Batman since the 1940s, he hasn’t yet had the opportunity to face off against the Caped Crusader in a major film production. He’s made brief appearances in live-action shows like Gotham and the Adam West series, but those roles were minor compared to what Director James Gunn might have planned. Given that the roster of Gotham City’s villains is becoming less populated with prominent characters, Mad Hatter could potentially secure a significant role within the DC Universe. With his technologically advanced hats capable of controlling minds, he poses a serious threat individually; however, joining a team would make him an even more formidable adversary.
It turns out that in DC Comics’ universe, the Mad Hatter frequently joins forces with the Wonderland Gang, carrying out intricate crimes in and around Gotham City. This leaves the Bat-Family baffled. If the rest of the group agrees, Mad Hatter might decide to include White Rabbit, thereby adding another layer of complexity for Batman who would need to address the Justice League about their questionable recruitment tactics, as these methods seem to have some detrimental impacts.
Peacemaker Season 2 is streaming on HBO Max.
