The popular mystery series, ‘The Good Ship Murder,’ is back with a new Christmas episode. However, things start off a bit gloomy, as Jack and Kate are still separated after Jack left the ship.
It’s not long before they’re reunited, however.
After a ship passenger dies on a trip to a monastery in Alicante, the detectives must team up to find the killer.
But can they catch the killer — and find their way back to one another romantically?

The Good Ship Murder Christmas special 2025 plot: What will happen?
This year’s Christmas episode of The Good Ship Murder takes place in Alicante, where a woman named Donna arrives on board. She says she’s seriously ill and is traveling with her close friend, Bernie.
The story starts with Donna meeting Gary on a cruise, and hoping for a Christmas miracle, she decides to visit a secluded monastery, according to the official description.
She encounters Rodriguez, a secretive priest, and Thomasina, a puzzling nun. However, the festive atmosphere quickly changes when Bernie is discovered dead.
Jack is now playing music at a rundown bar after losing his job on the ship. However, the murder at the monastery brings Kate back into his orbit.
Will they “rekindle their romance” – and will Jack return to the ship, just in time for Christmas?
