Last month, viewers of the Indiana Jones movies were surprised to find all four films directed by Steven Spielberg had suddenly vanished from Disney+. Shortly after, they reappeared on Prime Video, a streaming service where they aren’t usually available. While the original Indiana Jones films (excluding Dial of Destiny) are still not on Disney+, they’re now back on Prime Video.
Starting November 1st, four of the five Indiana Jones films returned to Paramount+, resolving a brief absence from the streaming service. Fans can now watch Raiders of the Lost Ark, Temple of Doom, The Last Crusade, and Kingdom of the Crystal Skull on one of their traditional streaming homes. While still available on Prime Video, these movies are expected to move back to Disney+ before January 2026, based on previous patterns.
Even though Disney now owns Lucasfilm, it makes sense that Indiana Jones movies are still available on Paramount+. Disney only bought Lucasfilm fairly recently. Paramount Pictures originally released the first four Indiana Jones films, so those movies are licensed to different streaming services. Meanwhile, the latest film, Dial of Destiny, remains exclusively on Disney+.
