Even though we’re still anticipating news about Dungeons & Dragons: Warlock, there’s plenty of excellent D&D gaming available right now. Recently, Demeo & Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked offered a new way to play tabletop games with friends remotely or even by yourself. This co-op RPG launched on PC, PlayStation 5, and Meta Quest last year, and has received several updates adding new content and characters. Today, it’s finally coming to the Nintendo Switch 2, alongside a brand new hero to play as.
If you’re a Dungeons & Dragons fan who wants to play a tabletop game without a Dungeon Master, Battlemarked is a fantastic choice. It features a variety of short adventures and longer campaigns. You can play with a group of four, choosing from seven different character classes, either by yourself or with friends. I’ve been really impressed with Battlemarked as a blend of tabletop and video game experiences. And even if you’re not planning on playing on the new Switch 2, today is a great day for Battlemarked fans, as they’ve just added a new playable character: a Druid.
Battlemarked Welcomes the Best D&D Class at Last

Earlier this year, the game Battlemarked introduced the Warlock as its first new class since launch, giving players a new magic-user to try. While Battlemarked does a good job of capturing the feel of Dungeons & Dragons, it was still missing some classic character classes. Today’s update fixes that, adding the Druid – my favorite! Now available on all platforms, players can play as Gruda Razortusk, an Orc Druid who can control the battlefield and heal allies. And just like the famous Druids in Baldur’s Gate 3, Gruda can transform into a Bear!
The newest update for the digital Dungeons & Dragons game confirms it will launch on the Switch 2 with eight playable classes: Bard, Fighter, Paladin, Ranger, Rogue, Sorcerer, Warlock, and Druid. While these cover many of the game’s most popular core classes, Barbarian, Monk, and Wizard aren’t available yet, but are likely to be added in future updates.
Now that Battlemarked is available on the Switch 2, players have even more ways to enjoy the game! It features full cross-platform play with PlayStation 5 and Steam, meaning you can play with friends regardless of which system they’re using. If you’re new to the game or curious about its performance on the Switch 2, you can watch the new trailer below.
The game looks great even without virtual reality, which is promising for its potential on the Switch 2. For those interested in a new character, a video introducing the Druid update is available on the official Battlemarked YouTube channel. Overall, it’s a fantastic day to revisit this D&D adventure! Resolution Games has also announced the first big paid expansion for Battlemarked, coming to all platforms later this year. It’s the game’s first major paid content after several free updates, and we’re eager to see what it includes.
You can play Demeo x Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked on PC, PlayStation 5, Meta Quest, and Nintendo Switch. It costs $29.99 on all platforms and gets updated often with new content that’s free to download.
