In season 3 of The Marlow Murder Club, Judith (played by Samantha Bond) continues her blossoming romance with Darius (Hugh Quarshie), while Suzie (Jo Martin) explores the dating scene with a little help from blind dates.
In an exclusive interview with TopMob, creator Bond shared details about season 3, revealing that Suzie will explore blind dating. It turns out someone close to her will be doing the same, leading to humorous situations.
Martin also chatted with TopMob and hinted that she might find romance this season.
Martin hinted at something new developing, saying, ‘I won’t say much, but there’s a connection forming.’ He then added that Judith seemed to be developing a romance with Hugh Quarshie, and he was happy for them.

I’m really hoping they explore more of her romantic life if the show continues. It’s been hinted that since her relationship with her daughter’s father ended, she hasn’t really been with anyone. And honestly, I see her as a really lively, capable woman who still has a lot of love to offer – I’d love to see her find that again!
She seems to admire Judith and Hugh’s qualities and is considering how she could incorporate those into her own life. I believe her character will develop as she explores that idea.
This season, Cara Horgan’s character, Becks, will be facing a very personal challenge: she’s become a suspect in a murder investigation.

Bond hinted that Judith and Suzie should be suspicious of her, even if they don’t think she’d actually commit the crime.
Bond explained that because Tanika is directly involved in the investigation while the others aren’t, there’s a challenge in determining what questions they can appropriately ask. He noted they tend to phrase things indirectly, and it’s difficult for Tanika to deal with the separation from the other three women.
The Marlow Murder Club is coming to U&Drama on Wednesday 18 March 2026.
