Overgeared will premiere in October and offers a story that could be worth checking out.

The story follows Yongwoo Shin, a seemingly ordinary gamer, who discovers a book that transforms him into an exceptional blacksmith capable of crafting incredibly powerful items. The Controversy of Overgeared
The anime series Overgeared doesn’t have a particularly controversial storyline, but the animation studio behind it, J.C. Staff, has been getting a lot of attention lately. This is largely due to the recent third season of One-Punch Man, which many fans felt didn’t do justice to the original material. Despite the negative reaction, a fourth season of One-Punch Man is planned, and J.C. Staff will be animating it.
Yen Press brought the story to North America and describes it as follows: Youngwoo Shin is a struggling adult, working odd jobs and burdened by debt, who’s seen as a hopeless gamer by his family. But inside the popular VR game Satisfy, he transforms into Grid, a rather unimpressive warrior. Everything changes when he discovers an ancient book filled with blacksmithing secrets – a book that resets his character’s level! Now, forced back to the beginning, Grid must improve his abilities and find trustworthy companions… or just rely on incredibly powerful equipment. We’ll find out this October if Overgeared can compete with the popular anime Solo Leveling (featuring Jinwoo Sung), or even come close to its success.
