After a ten-year break, the exciting spy series is back, starring Tom Hiddleston as Jonathan Pine, a skilled agent who specializes in working undercover.
This time around, he’s managed to get close to Teddy Dos Santos (Diego Calva), a dangerous arms dealer, and is working with Roxana Bolaños (Camila Morrone), a mysterious woman who’s helping him.
In a brief moment alone, Jonathan and Roxana discuss how to deal with someone they both dislike. It’s not yet clear if they genuinely trust each other or are simply using each other to get ahead.
The tension in the room is a little unclear because of the intense chemistry, but it’s obvious this relationship won’t be as sweet and genuine as the one between Jonathan and Jed (Elizabeth Debicki) from the first season.
There’s a strong feeling that either person might turn on the other the moment things become difficult, and the results could be very damaging.

Morrone described Roxana and Pine as deeply flawed individuals who long for love but struggle to express it. Both are skilled at taking risks and are driven by the excitement of a challenge, essentially being addicted to the game.
Their connection grows increasingly complicated, trapped in a cycle of trust and betrayal. And Roxana has no one else to turn to for support.

Hiddleston explained that Pine is haunted by guilt and shame due to past relationships where the women he cared for were endangered because of their connection to him. He’s now concerned that history might repeat itself with Roxana.
Roxana is actually a very complex person. She’s driven by her own passions, struggles, and a personal goal she’s determined to achieve.
