After a PlayStation 5 trophy list surfaced online, Team Cherry has officially announced that Hollow Knight: Voidheart Edition is now available on current-generation consoles.
The developer announced that the updated versions of the popular Metroidvania game will feature smoother gameplay, sharper graphics, and improved visual effects.
Even better, if you own the game on PS4, you can get the PS5 version as a free upgrade.
Team Cherry has also made some improvements to the original version of the game, with updates and refinements available on all platforms.

Original Story: It looks like Hollow Knight will soon receive a native port to PS5.
The popular game Hollow Knight: Voidheart Edition originally launched on PlayStation 4 in 2018. Recently, a list of trophies for a PlayStation 5 version appeared online, strongly suggesting an updated version for current-generation consoles is on its way.
This follows news that the original game is getting a Switch 2 Edition, which is out today.
The list of trophies for the PS5 version is the same as the PS4 version, with only minor changes to the artwork displayed on a few of the trophies.
The PS5 version of Hollow Knight isn’t available on the PlayStation Store just yet, but it’s looking like it will be released very soon.
