It’s been a little over a year since the popular series The Penguin, a spin-off of Batman, finished airing. Since then, the show has received a lot of awards recognition and been very successful at awards ceremonies.
The show’s popularity has naturally led viewers to wonder if it will return for a second season, even though it was initially created as a one-time story. There’s even talk that HBO and DC are beginning to discuss the possibility.
“I’d play her for the rest of my life,” was her instant response.
Honestly, that show is just fantastic, and I really connected with all the characters. Everything about it, as far as I’m concerned, was a perfect 10. I’d jump at the chance to watch it again sometime.
Milioti shared that the show—and her role in it—really resonated with audiences, describing the experience as both overwhelming and wonderful.
She said it was amazing how much impact the show had, especially considering it originally aired a year ago and the conversation around it had naturally faded. She also shared how much she enjoyed working on it.
“I’m still sort of just blown away by it all. I love it so much!”

Constance Wu was talking about her new role in the Netflix animated film, In Your Dreams. The film is written and directed by Alex Woo, a former Pixar employee, and they’re hoping it will be as popular as another recent Netflix animated hit, KPop Demon Hunters.
The movie centers on a brother and sister who enter a dream world, hoping The Sandman will help their parents (played by Cristin Milioti and Simu Liu) resolve their marital problems and create the perfect family.
Milioti shared that she first learned about the project in 2021 and was instantly captivated by Woo’s creative ideas.
She explained that she was drawn to the film because it realistically portrays the experience of a family struggling with potential breakdown.
This idea helps people of all ages understand and deal with difficult situations, using the concept of dreaming as a way to explore different possibilities.
