In their usual fashion, the fresh pack added to The Sims 4 came with some unexpected glitches. Particularly problematic is the excessive aggressiveness of the newly introduced illnesses from Enchanted by Nature, which have left Sims battling persistent ailments that negatively affect their mood and demand swift intervention. For numerous Simmers, this has dampened the enjoyment of the new Apothecary skill. Fortunately, EA has acknowledged a solution for the ailments issue, as well as other annoying bugs, in an upcoming patch for The Sims 4.
Just as Skyrim’s glitches can sometimes add to its appeal when playing The Sims, it’s true. However, these bugs can transition from endearing quirks into frustrating issues that detract from the gaming experience. For example, the recent complications with Sim pregnancy and the current recurring problems similar to ailments in ‘Enchanted by Nature’. Today, The Sims official support page on X, @TheSimsDirect, announced that another update is scheduled for next week.
In the upcoming week, we’ll unveil an update that aims to decrease Ailment occurrences by up to 75% and enhance Balance adjustments within Enchanted by Nature. Furthermore, we’re working diligently to address several top-tier issues, such as customizing Werewolf nose colors. We appreciate your valuable input!

This update for The Sims 4 is expected to decrease the rate of health issues among Sim characters by 75%, freeing up players from having to frequently tend to their Sims’ ailments. Additionally, the game balance will be improved, further reducing the occurrence of health issues. EA has promised to reveal more insights about the functioning of these health problems when the update is released. The developers also intend to clarify when players can observe their Fairy Sim characters’ wings, which could possibly pertain to the Customize-a-Sim feature, known for being somewhat complex during the initial character creation process.
At present, these are the problems that will be resolved in the upcoming update for The Sims 4. Moreover, Electronic Arts (EA) is planning to tackle some extra concerns that have been raised on the official forums of The Sims 4. Here’s what they are keeping an eye on.
Top Community Concerns to Be Addressed in Upcoming Sims 4 Patch
The update primarily addresses problems related to “Enchanted by Nature”. In addition, it tackles some of the most frequently reported issues from the community. Notably, it aims to rectify an ongoing issue where Werewolf nose colors fail to appear in the Create-a-Sim feature. This problem has been persistent since its initial reporting in February. Fingers crossed, this upcoming update should resolve these werewolf-related issues.

EA hasn’t specified which other problems they plan to address in the next update, but it seems they are considering some major issues raised by Sims players. Many gamers are using this moment to remind EA about ongoing concerns related to save file corruption from the “For Rent” pack. This is a problem that EA has acknowledged investigating, but there’s still no definite timeframe for when it will be fixed.
Next week, I’ll be eagerly awaiting the new update for The Sims 4! I can hardly wait to see the complete rundown of fixes that will come with it, shedding light on the bugs that have finally been squashed. Although there are still a few persistent annoyances in the game, it seems like they’re working hard to address these issues, with smaller patches becoming more frequent instead of the larger updates we used to get less often.
