Parker Posey, known for her role in The White Lotus, is now starring in a new reality competition show filmed in a stunning Italian villa.
From the creators of The Traitors, The Mob is a new competition where celebrities head to an Italian villa to compete for up to $250,000. They’ll need to bluff, negotiate, and outsmart each other to win.
Each episode will challenge celebrities with jobs inspired by famous mob movies, as they compete for survival. But like any mob organization, there will be a leader – a ‘don’ – overseeing everything.
The story centers around a power struggle within a crime family. The leader will choose an heir who will have complete control – deciding who profits, who remains in the organization, and who faces consequences. As loyalty is paramount, the question is whether the current leader can maintain control, or if the family will rebel and take over.

This show boasts a talented cast, with Demi Engemann, known from ‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,’ Bruno Tonioli from ‘Dancing with the Stars,’ and Aida Turturro, famous for her role in ‘The Sopranos,’ all taking part.
The cast also includes William Belli from RuPaul’s Drag Race, Joe Gorga from The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Harry Jowsey from Too Hot to Handle, Chelsea Lazkani from Selling Sunset, Debi Mazar from Younger, Bella Palk from Love Overboard, Romeo, and Bachelor Nation stars Maria Georgas and Shane Parton.
Jack Burgess, the president of Studio Lambert USA, expressed his excitement about collaborating on Primal, praising its creative concept and noting that Hulu is an ideal platform for the show.
Adam Wood and Mat Steiner from Primal Media explained that they’re big fans of reality TV and stories about the mafia. They created ‘The Mob’ hoping to develop a compelling show built around what they believe is the most influential contestant ever seen on reality television.
Imagine a high-stakes competition where personality, clever planning, and the will to survive are key. We’re excited to be partnering with Studio Lambert to create this series for Hulu, featuring a group of celebrities who are ready to compete – and eliminate each other!
