We’re now learning more about what will happen in season 4 of The White Lotus, including details about the story and how much it cost to make.
The fourth season of The White Lotus, reportedly costing $120 million to produce, will be set during the Cannes Film Festival. Producer David Bernad has revealed that a sense of “French aloofness” will be a key theme in the new episodes.
So, the whole show really clicked for me after a funny dinner I had. This waiter and maître d’ were totally leaning into those classic French stereotypes, and it was hilarious! I told Variety it was a real ‘aha!’ moment – it instantly showed me what the show could be, and how all the characters would play off each other. We literally scrapped all our other location scouting plans right then and there. We knew we had to shoot there – it was perfect!
