The final two episodes of the live-action Yakuza Powered by Nihon Toitsu series are now streaming online thanks to IGN.

We’ve embedded them below.

Episode 2

Episode 3

Original Story:

We’re seeing a lot of live-action Yakuza series and movies lately – almost as many as the number of times Kazuma Kiryu has unexpectedly returned! Luckily, you can watch this latest one without paying a dime.

Don’t mistake this film for the poorly received 2024 Amazon adaptation. This version stars actors from the popular Japanese gangster series, Nihon Touitsu.

The first episode is now available to watch on IGN, completely free with subtitles. We know it’s a bit of an unusual place to find it, but you won’t need to create a new account or subscription!

There’ll be three episodes in total, and these will roll out over the remainder of the week.

Here’s the summary for the series:

Kamurocho: a city brimming with both temptation and danger. Kazuma Kiryu, a famed former yakuza known as the Dragon of Dojima, sacrificed his freedom to protect his friend after a family tragedy. A decade later, drawn back to Kamurocho by an unseen force, he finds himself facing betrayal from within his old organization, a deadly scheme, and a growing wave of unsettling events that threaten to close in around him.

We’re about halfway through the first episode, and it’s already clear this adaptation understands the original story really well – even though it’s made with a limited budget. It’s also including cool details from the games, like cutscenes and backgrounds that look like they’re straight from the PS5 version.
