
Okay, sci-fi fans, get ready! 2026 is shaping up to be the year for the genre, with big names like Spielberg and Scott delivering new films. While I’m definitely looking forward to those, honestly, the movie I’m most excited about right now is Project Hail Mary. Directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller – that team knows how to make a fantastic film – it feels like it could be something truly special. It’s based on the novel by Andy Weir, the guy who brought us The Martian, and everything I’ve seen suggests it’s going to be a really moving story with some incredible visuals. With just over a month to go before it lands in theaters, Amazon MGM Studios is really ramping up the promotion, and honestly, it’s working – I’m officially hyped!
