As a gamer, have you ever pondered about a house fly’s wishlist? Frankly, neither have I, but it seems it’s intriguing enough to inspire the creative minds at Playables.
The latest game, titled “Time Flies,” features a Microsoft Paint-esque hand-drawn aesthetic and has you checking off the lengthy to-do list of an ordinary insect. You might find this quite surprising!
The press release morbidly muses:
Explore mastering an instrument, delve into reading a book, strive for wealth, indulge in moderation, or bring joy to someone else’s day. If your spirit isn’t up for achieving your aspirations, take some time to unwind, tidy up, and enjoy music. Cherish every moment you have left, as we all face the inevitability of mortality.

The game will launch on 31st July for $14.99, with a 10% discount available upon release.
Developer Michael Frei remarks, “Flies have been quite a nuisance during our four-year gaming project, but hopefully you can help alleviate the situation by adding the game to your wishlist. I could use some relief.
Indeed, games featuring bothersome insects like mosquitos aren’t exactly novel; you even played as a fly in Mister Mosquito for the PS2, an adventure that remains one of the console’s most recognized.
While we don’t anticipate the same level of excellence for this project, its concept is certainly intriguing and captivating.
