Timothée Chalamet & More Stars Who Witnessed Knicks’ Championship Win

The New York Knicks left it all on the court.

On June 13th, the team secured their first NBA championship in nearly 50 years, defeating the San Antonio Spurs 94-90 in a thrilling game. Several famous actors and celebrities were there in person to watch history unfold.

Prince Harry traveled from England to attend an event at the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas. He was among the celebrities there to witness a historic moment, dressed casually in a blue polo shirt and baseball cap.

I was so excited to see Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun at the game! It looked like such a cute date night – they were both decked out in Knicks gear and really seemed to be enjoying themselves during Game 5 of the NBA Finals.

As for the New York-natives in the house?

Okay, so you will NOT believe this! Timothée Chalamet – yes, the Timothée, and honestly, a total Knicks die-hard like me – was there last night! He’s been at almost every game all season, whether he’s with Kylie or not, and he had the best seat in the house to watch them win. It was incredible! I’m so jealous, but also so happy for him that he got to witness that legendary victory up close.

Timothée Chalamet, known for his role in Marty Supreme, showed his support for the New York Knicks while attending the game. He wore a Knicks T-shirt, denim shorts, and orange and blue sneakers. Though he was mostly focused during the match, Chalamet’s enthusiasm emerged as the Knicks started to win, and he excitedly jumped up and down with each basket.

As a die-hard Knicks fan myself, I totally get what this Little Women actor was saying – nothing matters when the team is winning! It just puts everything into perspective, you know? The joy of seeing them succeed completely overshadows anything else going on.

Timothée Chalamet, a four-time Oscar nominee, celebrated the New York Knicks’ victory with enthusiasm online, exclaiming “Way rather this than the Oscars! Come on, baby! Knicks are champions, baby!” in a clip shared by ESPN.

The excitement continued even after the actor from Beautiful Boy joined fans rushing onto the court. He later celebrated with the players in the locker room by spraying champagne.

As he captioned the June 13 clip shared to Instagram, “THEY DID IT.”

He wasn’t the only New Yorker excited about the win. Ben Stiller, Tracy Morgan, and Spike Lee were also there to celebrate the team’s long-awaited victory.

As Lee, a Knicks season ticket holder since 1985, pointed out, this victory had been a long time in the making.

“It’s been 53 years. 53 years!” he told ABC 7 NY. “Thank you, Jesus.”

As for how his favorite team pulled off the victory?

“They don’t quit,” he said. “No lead is safe.”

“I’m just thinking about all the Knicks fans in New York,” he added, “and the world.”
