TOWIE Star Jake Hall Dead at 35 After Freak Accident

A life has been cut short, far too soon.

British artist Jake Hall, who first became well-known on the reality show The Only Way is Essex (often called TOWIE), sadly passed away on May 6th in an accident while at a villa in Mallorca, Spain. He was 35 years old.

According to The Sun, police responding to the scene believe Hall died from injuries to the head caused by broken glass.

According to BBC News, the Spanish Civil Guard is looking into the incident and currently believes it was an accident. They are waiting for the results of an autopsy to confirm this.

Hall was the father of 8-year-old River, whom he shared with Misse Beqiri, also a reality TV star known from shows like Ladies of London and The Real Housewives of Cheshire. After his passing, a statement was released by Beqiri’s representative on her behalf.

Misse is currently focused on supporting their child through this incredibly difficult time. The family has asked for privacy, compassion, and respect as they mourn their loss privately, according to a statement to TopMob News.

James Hall first joined the reality show TOWIE in 2015 as a friend of Vas J Morgan. He appeared on the show for three seasons, through season seventeen, and was previously in a relationship with his co-star, Chloe Lewis.

According to a statement from the show, as reported by the BBC, Jake was a member of the TOWIE cast for several years, and the show extends its heartfelt condolences to his family and friends following the news of his passing.

She continued, saying she knew he’d faced hardships, but he always persevered and loved his daughter above all else. She expressed her deep sadness, adding, “Keep dancing in heaven.”

In recent years, Hall shifted from fashion to focus on art, inspired by his daughter, River, and after returning to Mallorca, where he spent his childhood.

I used to wake up repeatedly during the night and struggled with sleeplessness. Then, we moved to Spain. One day, my daughter asked me to draw with her, and that simple act completely shifted my focus. It pulled me out of a really difficult and dark period; she helped me escape that place just by doodling and creating art together.

Shortly before he died, Hall shared a video online featuring moments from his life in Mallorca. It included clips of Rive dancing, Hall painting, and time he spent with friends and exploring the island where he lived.

He shared a post saying that life can be tough, but he’s focusing on remembering the positive moments. He explained he’s simply creating art in various ways.
