The updated version of *The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky FC*, now called *Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter*, is available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PC. A new trailer highlights the game’s improved graphics, cutscenes, and battle system, and you can watch it below.
Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter is the first game in the expansive Kiseki series. It introduces Estelle and Joshua as they become members of the Bracer Guild and explore the kingdom of Liberl. What begins as a quest to become accomplished Bracers soon uncovers a dangerous plot that could destabilize the entire kingdom. Players can expect a lengthy adventure, with an estimated playtime of around 80 hours – more than twice as long as the original Japanese release.
The game features complete 3D graphics and uses the battle system from *Trails through Daybreak*. Players can switch between turn-based command battles and faster-paced, real-time combat depending on the situation. New additions include Follow-Up attacks, Chain Attacks, and the Overdrive system.
The next game in the series, *Trails Beyond the Horizon*, will be released on January 15, 2026, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.
