Falcom has released the first trailer for Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter, confirming its planned launch next year. The game is scheduled for release in Fall 2026 on PS5, Nintendo Switch, the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. You can watch the trailer below, but be warned – it contains spoilers for the first game.
This game continues the story of Estelle and Joshua, picking up where The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC left off, but with a bigger, more challenging plot. Players will have access to new combat abilities, including Crafts and S-Crafts, plus a feature called Brave Rush for faster battles. When you need a break from the main quest, you can also enjoy side activities like fishing and cooking.
The PC version of the game features full voice acting in both English and Japanese, alongside text in English, Japanese, German, French, and Spanish. Console versions don’t include Japanese text. If you’ve previously played Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter, you can transfer your save data to this sequel and receive some bonus items to help you get started.
