Traitors’ Rob Rausch Reveals Relationship Status

Rob Rausch is faithful when it comes to love.

The winner of season four of The Traitors, a former contestant on Love Island, has revealed he’s dating someone special.

After the show ended, host Andy Cohen asked Rob if he thought he and Maura Higgins, his fellow Love Island contestant, could ever get together, even though he had hurt her feelings at the end of their time on the show.

But the snake handler quickly dismissed that idea, explaining he’s been dating someone for “two months.”

Shortly after Rob won Traitors on February 26th, an interview with The Cut hinted at a romantic relationship. The article mentioned he’s building something with wood for his girlfriend, but he’s choosing to keep her identity a secret for now.

People – both those who support Rob and those who don’t – might be surprised to learn about his relationships. Throughout the season, many viewers wondered if his connection with Maura went deeper than just what they showed on the show.

Okay, so if you missed it, things got really dramatic! Rob completely blindsided everyone by revealing he’s been working against us the whole time. Apparently, he teamed up with a Love Island UK star to eliminate Tara Lipinski and Eric Nam – it was a total betrayal after they’d been strategizing together all season. Honestly, I did not see that coming!

After Rob’s emotional reveal, Maura expressed her disappointment.

Maura exclaimed in disbelief after learning he considered himself untrustworthy, calling him a terrible person and reminding him that he’d made a sincere promise.

Oh my god, she actually said that! It totally crushed me, honestly. She was so annoyed, she basically told me I was a lost cause when it came to dating – and get this, she said it like it was a compliment! She meant it as an insult, saying I’m such a good liar that no one would ever fall for me. I can’t believe she said that, but… a part of me was secretly thrilled she noticed how convincing I am. Still, ouch.

In the end, Rob wants to apologize to Maura and plans to use some of his $220,800 winnings to buy her a really extravagant gift.

At the reunion, Rob shared with Andy that he was likely going to save his money for later, but he also needed to purchase a Birkin bag for Maura.

Confirming Rob wasn’t lying about the gift idea, Candiace Dillard Bassett shared that there was already a plan to get Maura a Birkin bag.

For Maura, Rob has to make good on his promise before she would consider accepting his apology.

“You get my Birkin, you are forgiven,” she fired to Rob. “We go from there.”
