The Sims has consistently been a leading life simulation game for years. It’s been available on many different platforms, including computers and gaming consoles. While there have been mobile versions like The Sims Mobile and The Sims: FreePlay, EA has indicated that mobile gaming will also be a focus with their new project, Project Rene. Now, fans are excited to learn that some classic Sims games will soon be released on mobile phones.
Gamers can still play both *The Sims Mobile* and *The Sims: FreePlay*, and both games continue to receive updates with fresh content. If you’re looking for a new mobile game experience, however, *MySims* and *MySims: Kingdom* are coming to Apple Arcade on November 6th.
MySims and MySims: Kingdom Are Headed to Apple Arcade

Fans were excited when the classic *MySims* games were brought back in late 2024 for PC and Nintendo Switch. Now, these games are coming to Apple Arcade on mobile devices! However, this means they won’t be available on Android. To play, you’ll need an Apple Arcade subscription, as the games won’t be sold separately. If you’re already an Apple Arcade subscriber, you can play them at no extra cost.
When *MySims* and *MySims: Kingdom* come to Apple devices, they’ll be optimized for touch screen controls. This should make the gameplay feel smoother and more natural than it did on consoles. These games are part of the *Sims* family, but they offer a unique experience – think *Animal Crossing* with a cozy, relaxed atmosphere. Each re-release has its own special features and charm.

In *MySims*, you get to create and grow your own town! You’ll help the community by building and decorating everything from furniture to entire buildings. As you fulfill requests, new and interesting people will move in, making your town even more lively.
In *MySims Kingdom*, you’re transported to a medieval island and tasked with completing exciting quests. As you explore, you’ll help restore the kingdom, and crafting will be a key part of rebuilding the island.
Starting November 6th, you can play both *MySims* games on Apple devices with an Apple Arcade subscription. If you don’t have an Apple device, they’re already available on PC and Nintendo Switch. Apple Arcade costs $6.99 per month and gives you access to over 200 mobile games without ads, including these two *MySims* titles.
I’m so excited about the *MySims* games coming to Apple Arcade! I’m definitely going to be checking them out, and I’d love to hear what you all think too. Let’s chat about it over on the ComicBook Forum – come join the conversation!
