The BBC has given fans a sneak peek of Hugh Bonneville reprising his role as Ian Fletcher, the Head of Values, for the new series *Twenty Twenty Six*. Hugh Skinner will also be returning for the show.
This new six-episode comedy is a follow-up to the series W1A. It centers around Fletcher, who gets the job of ensuring ethical conduct for the BBC during the 2026 World Cup.
Bonneville’s character is heading to Miami as part of the Twenty Twenty Six Oversight Team, and he’ll be joined by a familiar face from the BBC: Ian’s clumsy assistant, Will Humphries, played by Skinner. Both actors will be working on the project.
Will first appeared as an intern in the BBC comedy series W1A, which aired on BBC Two from 2014 to 2017. He was then promoted to become Ian’s personal assistant in the second season.
Actor Richard Skinner, famous for playing Prince William in ‘The Windsors’ and Harry in ‘Fleabag,’ recently mentioned it’s been a long time since he last appeared as Will in the show ‘W1A’.
“He’s still on the whole, completely useless and I’m thrilled to be having another go.”

The cast now includes several new actors joining Skinner, such as Marli Siu, known for her roles in ‘Everything I Know About Love’ and ‘Alex Rider’; Nicole Sadie Sawyer, who has appeared in ‘EastEnders’ and ‘Casualty’; Joe Hewetson from ‘Too Much’ and ‘Sex Education’; and Erin Kellyman, recognized for her work in ‘Eleanor the Great’ and ‘Blitz’.
Joining the cast are Nick Blood, Chelsey Crisp, Paulo Costanzo, Stephen Kunken, Jimena Larraguivel, Alexis Michalik, and Belinda Stewart-Wilson. These actors join previously announced cast members.
