Almost ready for release on PS5, Lost Soul Aside has generated much anticipation. Now, attention is shifting towards the following stage of Sony’s China Hero Project, an initiative designed to cultivate Chinese game development skills and support projects aimed at a worldwide market.
Recently, EXILEDGE – a project supported by PlayStation – was unveiled, and over the weekend at ChinaJoy 2025, developer Enigmatrix showcased some fresh gameplay.
Back then when

In one sequence, the main figure is depicted cruising past landscapes on a motorbike that appears serviceable, albeit somewhat leisurely paced. This deliberate speed could be to suit the requirements of the preview.
When the action starts, it might appear somewhat slow-paced or rigid compared to us. The shooting and evading aren’t as seamless as, for instance, in Returnal – a comparison we acknowledge is setting an extremely high standard, but this is the caliber of gameplay the reviewers will be comparing it to.
We enjoy the blend of gunfights and hand-to-hand combat in the trailer, and the final move at the end, which seems to involve some sort of summon, appears exciting. However, without actually playing the game ourselves, it seems somewhat uninteresting and, perhaps, a bit ordinary.
This project needs some work, but since Sony is covering the costs, we’re optimistic that it will eventually be a success.
