West Wilson can’t take the summer heat any longer.

The Summer House star is leaving the Bravo series ahead of season 11, according to multiple outlets.

The news that West is leaving came out on June 15th, just days after the intense season 10 finale. During the finale, his ex-girlfriend, Ciara Miller, confronted him about his secret relationship with her close friend, Amanda Batula.

Jax West, who became a cast member in season eight, hasn’t spoken publicly about leaving the show. TopMob News contacted Bravo for a statement, but they haven’t responded yet.

Bravo hasn’t announced which of Austen Kroll’s fellow cast members – including Ciara, Amanda, Kyle Cooke, Lindsay Hubbard, Carl Radke, KJ Dillard, Dara Levitan, Mia Calabrese, Jesse Solomon, Bailey Taylor, and Levi Sebree – will be back for the next season, or who won’t be asked to return to the Hamptons.

We expect to hear who’s starring in the project very soon, as filming typically starts around the Fourth of July holiday.

Considering how strongly Ciara criticized West and Amanda for their actions and the damage it caused to their friend group at the season 10 reunion on June 9th, West’s reaction isn’t entirely surprising.

Speaking about a potential romance, the former contestant on The Traitors suggested that Amanda would be a good match for West. They believed West needs a partner who won’t challenge him, and Amanda, who tends to be quiet and reserved, would likely fulfill that role, allowing him to remain the dominant personality in the relationship.

“So,” Ciara continued, “I actually think maybe it could work.”

Even after several weeks had passed since the couple announced their relationship on Instagram in March, the model was still surprised by Amanda and West’s decision to start dating after being just friends.

Ciara said, “I can’t believe I’m so angry that you’re dating my ex.” She added that she believes he’s trying to hurt her feelings and get one last dig in, and suspects he’s with this person just to upset her.

West explained to Andy Cohen that he took medication – specifically beta blockers – to manage his anxiety while being criticized by fellow cast members, which may explain why he didn’t react much.

He said he was doing his best to remain calm, but Ciara immediately responded by accusing him of being a sociopath.

He confirmed he was taking prescription medication and then explained, “I’m not sure if that’s affecting my reaction, but this is really important to me. I’m sorry if I don’t seem as upset as you might expect.”
