What to expect from the next Pokémon Presents

From all that was revealed during July’s Pokémon Presents, it appears that Pokémon Legends: Z-A is the title most likely to have been discussed.

In a few short months, we’ll be seeing the sequel to Legends: Arceus. It’s reasonable to expect that Nintendo and Game Freak might share some additional gameplay and narrative tidbits as the launch date approaches.

Although Legends: Z-A seems like the clear pick, it’s the intriguing teaser from the official Japanese Pokémon account that has sparked conversation. The image shows Pikachu positioned near a collection of DJ gear.

Though no clear evidence has emerged yet, people are already buzzing with theories that this might be hinting at a fresh rhythm game themed around Pokémon.

Fans swiftly noted that the entire collection was in black and white, leading them to speculate that this could be a hint towards remakes of Pokémon Black and White, potentially returning the franchise to the Unova region.

It’s quite likely that this event will take place, given how beloved Black and White continue to be among fans, largely due to their memorable soundtracks.

There’s a possibility, getting a bit more theoretical here, that we might hear an announcement for the next generation of Pokémon games, based on rumors that have been spreading since earlier this year.

Beyond this, we might also receive some updates for a couple of minor offshoot games like Pokémon Go, Pokémon Trading Card Game Online (Pokémon TCG Pocket), Pokémon Masters EX, and potentially Pokémon Champions – a game that was publicly announced in February.
