Who is hosting The Royal Variety Performance 2025?
Comedian Jason Manford hosted this year’s Royal Variety Performance, following Amanda Holden and Alan Carr who hosted the event last year.
He hosted the event before, in 2020, in Blackpool. Because of Covid-19 restrictions at the time, it was held online.
The Royal Variety Performance 2025 line-up
Katherine Jenkins will sing the National Anthem at the event, which will be attended by members of the Royal Family. The show will also feature appearances by Stephen Fry, Tom Davis, Mick Miller, and the talented impressionists from the popular BBC series, Dead Ringers.
To mark the 40th anniversary of the historic Live Aid concerts, Sir Bob Geldof, Midge Ure, and a fantastic cast will present a special performance of the musical, ‘Just For One Day’, which commemorates the events in London and Philadelphia.
Johannes Radebe, known for his appearances on Strictly Come Dancing, will perform a dazzling number from the popular musical Kinky Boots.
Joining the show are Adrian Stoica and Hurricane, the winning duo from America’s Got Talent. They’ll be performing a specially created routine for their first-ever performance in the UK.
The evening will feature a huge 40th anniversary concert for Les Misérables, plus performances by Jessie J and Britain’s Got Talent winner Harry Moulding, and a special appearance by Paddington the Musical.
To celebrate Les Misérables, Michael Ball, Matt Lucas, Katy Secombe, Bradley Jaden, and Killian Donnelly will perform a grand finale medley. They’ll be joined by the current West End and Paris casts, as well as amateur theatre groups from around the UK.

The Prince and Princess of Wales attended the event for the sixth time, continuing their long-standing support of the Royal Variety Charity. They’ve also been to the fundraiser in 2014, 2017, 2019, 2021, and last year in 2023.
