In the game Where Winds Meet, the quest “Lost Quotes” tasks players with finding three volumes of Master Miaoshan’s Quotes for Huijing in the Bodhi Sea. Unlike many quests, it doesn’t provide any on-screen markers to show you where to look. Players will need to rely on limited clues and explore on their own to complete it.

Lost Quotes Walkthrough
Huijing Location
Go to the spot shown on the map – you’ll find Huijing walking back and forth near a big building. Speak with him, and he’ll explain that he’s lost three books of quotes by Master Miaoshan and needs your help finding them. He can only give you a few hints to get started.
- Maybe greedy people found them. Maybe thieves stole them. Or perhaps they’re somewhere Buddha wanted.
The clues about where to find the Lost Quotes suggest specific places to search. One book is held by someone greedy and can be taken from them, another was stolen and is hidden in a thieves’ hideout, and the last is located in a sacred place. Here’s where each book can be found.
Lost Quotes 1 Location
Start at the Bloomveil Monastery Outpost and travel southwest until you reach a clearing with a stone tablet. Read the message on the tablet – it instructs you to bow respectfully and look at the sun at Wu hour.
To get Miaoshan’s Quotes 1, set the in-game clock to the Wu hour, then stand on the green mat and perform the Bow action two times. If you do it right, a treasure chest near the stele will open.
Lost Quotes 2 Location
Just north of the Bloomveil Monastery Outpost (west of the teleport stone) you’ll find an NPC named Wang Er. He’s standing near the cliff edge, enjoying the view. Use the Celestial Seize skill to steal the book, ‘Miaoshan’s Quotes 2,’ from him.
Lost Quotes 3 Location-
Go to the location shown on the map and look for a cave entrance at ground level. Be prepared to fight enemies from the Aureate Pavilion inside. Once you’ve defeated all the enemies, you’ll find Miaoshan’s Quotes 3 on a wooden box near a campfire. The box is located to the right of where you fought the Aureate Commander.
Lost Quotes Rewards
Return to Huijing and submit all three Lost Quotes to him to receive the following rewards:
- Echo Jade x40
- Qinghe Exploration x10
- Coin x5000
- Character EXP x5000 (or Stored EXP x5000)
