The wait is finally over, and The Imperial Palace expansion for Where Winds Meet is finally live.
We were really impressed with this game when we first saw it, and we still are. It features beautiful scenery and engaging enemies, though their reasons for fighting might be more complex than the trailer suggests.
We hoped to see more of the Cat Emperor and Gilded Lament, two of the new powerful bosses in the latest area. Considering this expansion is said to be as big as Kaifeng, it might just take time to explore everything.
Beyond that main draw, there’s plenty more to experience – like comical brawls, overhearing interesting conversations, exciting nighttime pursuits, and detective work. We plan to thoroughly investigate the Palace and won’t leave until we’ve discovered all its hidden secrets.
