**Warning: Contains spoilers for The Traitors season 4**
This season of The Traitors has really upped the ante with a new twist: a Secret Traitor who’s secretly controlling everything that happens.
In the first episode of the show, Claudia Winkleman selected three Traitors, and also secretly recruited a fourth, whose identity remains hidden from both the viewers and the other contestants.
As the Secret Traitor, you have a tricky job: you need to avoid being discovered by your fellow Traitors while also secretly suggesting which players should be eliminated each night.
At the end of the last episode, James, Netty, and Maz were all potential targets, and the Traitors had to choose who would be eliminated from the castle first.

Netty – ‘MURDERED’ in episode 2

At the end of the first episode, viewers were left wondering who would be eliminated. The Traitors then chose Netty as the player to remove from the game.
Netty’s murder deeply disturbed the other members of the group, and suspicion quickly turned to Ross. He had previously confessed to hiding the fact that he knew Netty before the show began.
You can continue watching season 4 of The Traitors on Saturday, January 3rd at 7:45pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer. If you’ve missed any previous seasons, the first three seasons are currently available to stream on iPlayer.
