Xbox Game Pass is about to get a major upgrade! While the service is already popular for its huge game library, Xbox is constantly adding new benefits. And this week, they’re introducing what many consider to be one of the best additions yet, making Game Pass even more worthwhile.
Starting November 18th, Xbox Game Pass will include Fortnite Crew! This subscription normally costs $12 per month, but with Game Pass, you’ll get everything it offers – 1,000 V-Bucks every month, plus access to all of Fortnite’s passes. That includes the Battle Pass, the OG Pass, the LEGO Fortnite Pass, and the Fortnite Festival Music Pass. You’ll also receive a new skin each month, and access to the Rocket Pass for Rocket League.

Xbox raised the price of Game Pass earlier this year, explaining that Fortnite Crew would be included as a benefit. While they announced this addition, they didn’t initially say when it would happen, frustrating some players. Now, Xbox has announced that Fortnite Crew will be available to Game Pass members starting next Tuesday.
The biggest catch with adding Fortnite Crew to Xbox Game Pass is that it’s only available with the Game Pass Ultimate subscription. If you have a lower-tier Game Pass plan, you won’t receive the Fortnite Crew benefits. Also, keep in mind that Game Pass Ultimate now costs $29.99 per month after the recent price increase.
In addition to coming to Xbox Game Pass, Fortnite will also be available on the Xbox Store for PC starting November 18th. This is significant because Fortnite was previously only available on the Epic Games Store on PC. Now, players will be able to enjoy a ‘Play Anywhere’ experience, meaning their game progress will automatically sync between Xbox consoles and PC.
